I think we can all agree, times are tough right now. I'm feeling a little cooped up and missing the outdoors. So as I was thinking of starting a new knit project the other day, I immediately turned to yarns in the brightest, cheeriest colors I could find to put a smile on my face.
One yarn brand that I love, Urth Yarns, specializes in vivid, variegated, self-striping, and tonal colorways that are simply stunning. They also have a well-stocked library of free patterns to complement their yarns, so it's easy to pair yarn and project.
Here at Izzy Knits, we've been carrying Urth's Uneek Sock Kits for a while, but this week, we're introducing Uneek and Monokrom fingering as well. Each relies on the same 100% extrafine, superwash merino base, which ensures that variegated and tonal yarns combine seamlessly in projects that require both.
Here are a few of the projects I looked at when searching for something new to start. I ultimately chose Urth's Chevron Scarf (picture above and below). Perhaps one of these picks will inspire you too! Many of them are FREE!!
