Hand-knit Shawl in Warm Earth Tones
Texture abounds in this cozy, wool and bouclé wrap!
This shawl was knit in a combination of stockinette and garter stitch as a shop sample using Noro's Kanzashi (super bulky, bouclé) and Ito (aran, plied) yarns. The combination of textures results in a springy fabric that was knit on large needles so as not to become too dense or stiff. It's a semi-circular shawl that is quite warm yet narrow, so it's surprisingly light for a cold weather shawl.
Ito = 100% wool
Kanzashi = 30% mohair, 30% silk, 23% wool, 14% rayon/viscose, 3% nylon/polyamide
