Morgentau Cowl - Knit Kit

Designed by Ariane Gallizzi, the Morgentau Cowl features a leafy lace stitch pattern. Beads (optional) added to the leaves on one edge sparkle like dewdrops, adding a jeweled-touch. (Morgentau is German for morning dew!)

The cowl's border is knit flat and joined with a 3 needle bind-off to form a circle. Then, stitches are picked up around the edge to knit the cowl in the round.

Our kits pair Ariane's pattern with Dream in Color's Jilly, which is a hand-dyed, 100% superwash merino with a bouncy twist. It's touchably-soft, single-ply, and sourced and custom spun in North America to minimize pilling.
