This particular pillow features 100% wool yarns from Noro. Noro's Kureyon and Malvinas are sourced from certified organic farms (in Australia, the Falkland Islands, and South Africa), then dyed and spun in Japan.

What I love most about Noro yarns is the "intention" that goes into their creation. It's all about a visceral connection to nature... from the sheep (that produce the fiber) to the vivid hues (which mimic the infinite and varied colors found in nature) to the handspun, loosely processed quality of the finished product. As a maker, I experience joy and a sense of wonder as I work with these yarns, which is soothing to my soul.

What Makes It Special

Every pillow I make is a unique original… meticulously handcrafted from top-quality materials with care and attention to detail. Even if I knit another using the same yarns, the colors won't reveal themselves in the same way... so you're truly getting a one-of-a-kind treasure!

To complement every knit pillow front, I carefully choose a pillow back and lining, preferring fabrics made with 100% natural fibers, like cotton, linen, and wool (unless otherwise noted). I then insert a lofty, synthetic down pillow form that is hypoallergenic, made in the USA, and sized to fully fill the pillow.
