Texturally speaking, it's two sides of the same coin!

Every pillow I make is unique… meticulously handcrafted from high-end materials with care and attention to detail. For this 12” x 12” pillow, I used Noro yarn, which is 100% wool sourced from certified organic farms, dyed and spun in Japan. I’m a huge fan of this yarn, which is known for its vivid, nature-inspired hues, unique color combinations, and natural texture. Knit up, it epitomizes warm and cozy comfort… like a sweater for your couch!

SERIES INSPIRATION
Before I was a knitter and a maker, I was a copywriter... so I have a deeply rooted love of words and their meanings. A contranym is a word which has two meanings, both contradictory to each other. I chose Contranym for this pillow series because it reflects the dual nature of the pillow itself. Though I used only one stitch (stockinette), the look changes dramatically at the midline when the stitch is flipped (reverse stockinette).
