These festive, handcrafted folk ornaments were designed and hand-stitched by Susan using a colorful variety of wool felt remnants, vibrant threads, and Czech glass beads. With only their shape in common, each is a unique, hand-stitched decoration sure to bring a smile to anyone's face. 

Made from the highest quality 100% merino wool felt, each "Folk Flower" displays a delightful blend of rustic simplicity and artistic flair, featuring bright colors, bold patterns, layered textiles, and free-form stitching. Each is soft to the touch and made to last, with saturated colors that won't fade. An ivory satin ribbon loop is included for hanging.

What Makes It Special

One of the things I enjoy most about making my "Folk Flower" ornaments is that each one is unique. Whenever I'm tired of making multiples of the same thing, I reach for some felt circles and flowers and let my creative juices flow. I never know what stitches I'll pair with what color felt and threads... it's just what makes me happy at that given moment. Perhaps that's the very definition of folk art? I don't know. But these ornaments represent me at my most authentic, creative self!
