Introduction to Yarn Dyeing - Dyeing Kit

Dyeing your own yarn is easy and fun to do! Suitable for all ages.

Designed for beginners (including children with adult supervision), this kit comes with everything you need to learn how to dye your own yarn, creating color combinations that are uniquely yours!

KIT INCLUDES
-- 2 skeins fingering-weight yarn
-- 4 pots of dye
-- 1 color wheel + color recipes
-- Dyeing instructions

DYE DETAILS
Kit includes 10g each of four (4) different Ashford Wool dyes (Hot Pink, Yellow, Black, and Blue), which is enough to dye up to 4kg of yarn or fiber.

YARN DETAILS
Ashford Wool (3.5oz/100g [approx 437yd/400m]), 75% wool, 25% nylon, 4-ply fingering weight yarn, machine washable in cold. Gauge is  26-28 sts x 26 rows = 4" on US 2-3 needles.
