This beanie has a relaxed vibe with undulating fabric rolls and an unusually flat, star-shaped crown.
ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Jelly Roll Beanie is knit with worsted weight yarn. I recommend using a self-striping yarn (as shown) to further accentuate the texture created by alternating stripes of knit and purl stitches. Decreases at the crown create a star-shaped spiral on top.
Knit and purl, decreasing, working small circumferences in the round with magic loop (or method of choice). Instructions are written.

Inspired by a hat that appeared in the Fall/Winter 2019 issue (#15) of Noro Magazine, the Jelly Roll Beanie is knit in the round, whereas the original was knit flat and seamed.
