The patterns are basic, designed first and foremost to teach moms-to-be how to knit as they await the arrival of their new baby. Experienced knitters, however, may choose to keep the kit for themselves, knitting the five sweet keepsakes to gift a newborn at a baby shower or hosptial visit!
